A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PRESIDENT
July is the most active month for our members. We have the Drag Racing Challenge between the Ontario and the Michigan clubs July 4th, at Grand Bend. The commemorative T-shirts for the occasion were handed to me by Jeff yesterday, we also decided to drop the price to $15 instead of $20 our cost is $13, few hats left will go for the same price. We still have more free tickets for the drivers.
The Molson Indy for the lucky few is also held July 9th-11th. and the city parade on the 7th. The other major event is the Quebec City weekend which is in conjunction with the VCA Que. Region. We are anxiously looking forward for a nice cruise to Que. city, and a nice weekend with the French connection ( brush out on your la frances'!). We will rendezvous with the Que. Vipers on the outskirts of Montreal at noon on Friday, and then cruise together to Que. City.
Would like to welcome to the club Dr. Gabriel Attallah from St. Catharine, Tony Oram and Angie from Burlington, and Dr. Jerry Tracy from Lancaster, NY. Also, to thank the Chapins for their generous contribution for the Sick Kids. Enjoy your summer and play safe.

UPCOMING V.C.O. EVENTS FOR JULY
Ready to do something that's really a "drag"? Sunday July 4th is the Viper Club of America Ontario Chapter at Grand Bend Dragway for the Annual Mopar Drag Day, sponsored by Canada's Viper Headquarters - Wellington Chrysler Jeep Dodge. There's a dedicated Viper only class, trophies, Viper only parking area, and the air conditioned Wellington Chrysler Jeep Dodge VIP Suite. As an added bonus, the Motor City Viper Club is going to cross the river and take us on head to head for the ultimate prize - bragging rights! They're still mad about us burning down their White House and since it is July 4th they're coming for revenge! No experience is necessary - instruction will be provided to beginners - all you need is your Viper, a helmet, and a serious desire to defend your country's honour...
July 4th, Grand Bend Challenge- CAN - AM Drag Racing Challenge at Grand Bend. Commemorative t-shirts are made for this occasion designed in house by Jeff Green. REPORTS ON LAST MONTHS EVENTS
Upon the arrival at Dan's place we were greeted with a live band and an amazing catered lunch. There was calamari, barbecued chicken, hamburgers and everything in between.
Dan then released a Great Horned Owl and a Red Tailed Hawk (which he rehabilitated after it flew into a window) back into the wilderness.
Everyone gathered in front of the 15 Vipers and 5 Prowlers for a group picture, and the women had some of their "interesting" poses taken with the cars as well.
There was no lack of fun to be had for the kids as well, they enjoyed swimming, chasing each other with the water guns, and most of all smashing the pinata to bits!
Overall the day was a great success, many thanks go out to Dan and Onita for hosting and organizing this event, you guys did an amazing job! We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable summer, and we look forward to seeing you again at the next event!

WANTED:
Hello fellow Vipers and Vipresses (sp?)
Sadly, Frank just sold his 94 Red RT/10. I've been nagging him for a gorgeous dress I saw on Rodeo Drive so he finally gave in.
Okay, so that was lame.
Seriously, it was hard for him to let it go. He loved it. (and the attention that came with it)
He is now searching to find a 2003. (so much for my dress)(Kevin? I spoke to your friend Andrew from Performance Chrysler about his inventory).
He does have his eye on one now but if anyone knows anyone who is selling a 2003, please email the information.
We decided that when he gets another one, we are going to make make more time to participate in more viper events. We were really looking forward to Dallas but not knowing if he'll have another one by then, we didn't book. Does anyone know if we can still book late?
"When you've already owned a Viper, it's hard to live without".
Thanks and enjoy the warm, Viper season.
Mary & Frank DeFrancesco
Does anyone know where I can find a front licence plate holder that is removable. I understand someone makes an aftermarket version that snaps on and off the front center spoiler. I've received 2 warnings and two tickets thus far. I was told by the last OPP officer that a memo has gone out to check on all vipers seen. Apparently most snake owners don't have front plates mounted. Be on the lookout!

Morris Manna
NOTES FROM YOUR V.P.
As you know we have nominated Nabil to the position of Director at Large in the VCA. This is a very prestigious position. We had 20 votes almost overnight and the next few days over 30 so now he's in the hands of higher powers.
Good luck Nabil.
